More self-portrait scribbles in sketchbook.

I’ve sewn some of the fabric and while I quite like the look of it, the red thread lines aren’t secure enough. They never stay straight and I have managed to pull one through. I may try stitching lines through other fabric to see what it’s like. 

WIP. Fabric stitched with red lines to appear like the lines on a map. I just have to sew the marking using white thread now. 

 

A couple of self portraits for my sketchbook. Judging by these I think a lot of myself. Or not.

Sorry I haven’t been posting any work, but I’ve got an 8,000 word report to write and I’ve got an essay meeting to go to on Monday. Hopefully I’ll start posting soon.

This is an idea for a postcard for my end of year exhibition in uni. I wanted a simple design to work with one of the ideas of my project.

What do you think? I haven’t had them printed yet so any constructive criticism is welcome.

                               

Been taking photos today of the moles and freckles on my twin sister’s and my face. We used black calligraphy ink because it would stand out the most. Hopefully I’ll put them all together to make a book for our uni exhibition. 

This piece is for Uni. My work is about skin markings, moles and freckles. But it is also about being a twin and how me and my sister have tried changing our appearance to show that we are individuals. When you strip everything away our markings are also ways of showing our individuality, just like finger prints.

This piece of work is for uni and is about skin markings and constellations.
