I haven’t drawn in ages so I thought I’d try drawing from photographs. This is my sister when she was little. It looks a bit weird but I’m alright with it.

I’ve finally handed in my report for uni, That’s it no more writing for me. Yesterday I spent the whole day sanding, scraping and moping the floors of our exhibition space. I got dust in my eyes, nose and throat. Scraped off the skin on my hands, bruised both my knees and ached my back. Today I spent a couple of hours adding my postcards to 300 stacks.
I have drawn out some templates so I can sew on fabric, I haven’t started yet as I need space but people are coming to view the flat, once they’ve gone I’ll start it.

I’ve sewn some of the fabric and while I quite like the look of it, the red thread lines aren’t secure enough. They never stay straight and I have managed to pull one through. I may try stitching lines through other fabric to see what it’s like.

WIP. Fabric stitched with red lines to appear like the lines on a map. I just have to sew the marking using white thread now.
