My work has been published!

Earlier today I went into Waterstones and saw The Ghost of Gone Birds book. I knew my sister’s work was going to be in it as she had to write a statement for it, but I was shocked to see a photo of my own work in it as nobody told me it would be printed.

I should have posted this a while ago, I would like to say that I haven't because I've been really busy but then I would be lying. Oh well, here are the photos of the exhibition catalogue and my postcards,

New Uni Project

 I haven't been on here in ages, I wish I could say that I've been really busy but that would be lying. I could back to uni on the 4th so I'm starting a new project about birds and I've decided that I want to start it off by looking at how animals play a part in different mythologies. I've looked at Celtic, Norse, Greek, and at the moment I'm looking at Native American. Whilst looking for pictures I came across these and thought they were amazing.

Givedinanang (Polaris) - Guardian of the north, brings winter and old age. Vabananang (Venus Ur) - Tyler East, the dawn brings new life, rebirth and healing, giving rise to a new day. Zhavananang (Jupiter) - Guardian of the south, is updated, gives warmth and food. Ningabianang (Venus in the evening) - Guardian of the West, brings maturity and as materials with Nimki Fest Ojibwe. Pictures, of course, ancient.
